All About Me

'Minds Are Like Parachutes, They Only Operate Properly When Open'

LOCATION:

Hagerstown, MD, USA near the Prime Outlets, off I-70 Exit 29

SUMMARY:

I don't think outside the box, I live outside the box, then I destroy the box. My cell phone isn't for talking, it's for texting. I don't like indoor clubs so much, but love an outdoor electronic music party. I tend to modify things for fun. I am not religious, though I don't mind if you are. I prefer to build something I need rather than buy it pre-made. I'm always absorbing new information - most of the technical, computer and electrical knowledge that I have is self taught via experimentation and hands-on experience.

There's always something I'm into, whether it be taking my 4x4 out in the mud in Gambril Park here in MD, going ghost hunting with a group of friends in the middle of nowhere, walking around outside in the middle of a raging electrical storm - or even chasing thunderstorms to get on video, or finding unusual music - some of which I swear was written about me, such as Lords of Acid's 'I Like It'.

When staying in, I design and build things, and construct massive electrical projects. Sometimes smoke does come out, and sometimes pieces go flying, then I laugh and start again. I love doing electrical experiments on video to post on YouTube.

Does the thought of a pickle exploding via a massive electrical pulse sound entertaining? Or melting light bulbs and beer bottles with extremely high voltage? How about launching various objects with crazy amounts of electromagnetic power? Or melting coins, cans and other objects into a pile of goo? If so, there's a good chance we'll make good friends and you should message me :-)

I'm going to move into an RV sometime and free myself from any one location.  I want to go places and see things!

Things I couldn't live without:

► My girlfriend Katie <3
► Hot Tea with Soy milk and Splenda - My drink of choice
► Indoor plumbing - Because some things I want gone rather quickly
► Electricity - Couldn't live without it
► Chap Stick & Hair Ties - Very necessary pocket items
► Air Conditioning - Hot and sticky = yuck

And three things I really just like a lot:

► Big speakers and electronic music to blast through them!!
► eBay - It's where I prefer to buy just about anything
► Digital camera - I love taking pictures

Random Facts:

► I listen to foreign music that I can't understand

I'm really open and accepting - and I'll talk about *anything*
My favorite colors are purple, lime green and black
I sleep at day, live at night
I'm androgynous
I drink a LOT of tea
I laugh really hard every time something blows up on MythBusters
I'm open, geeky, sexual, adventurous and kinky

Whats Often On My Mind:

► The environment and how to go green. I go way beyond just sticking spiral bulbs in all my fixtures. I even wrote a manual on how to save energy. Maybe even making my own documentary about saving electricity
► What I just saw on Discovery. Trying what the MythBusters just told me not to try at home
► Where my life is going, and how I'm evolving for myself and those around me
► The idea of having no permanent physical address, and living out of an RV, running on french fry oil.

WHAT I DO:

I'm self employed in Information Technology as a software developer and consultant. I wrote software and began selling it in 8th grade, and then I started my business in high school.

I'm an alternative artistic model, meaning that I use myself in photographs to tell a story or express emotion, for the sake of art.

BOOKS:

I'm not a bookworm, but certain topics - especially medical thrillers, can draw me in. This includes almost anything by Robin Cook and Stephen King.  Robin Cook's "Terminal" is a medical thriller where what appears to be a medical miracle is not what it seems. This was an "edge of your seat" read...I couldn't put it down as the plot constantly twisted and turned, revealing new surprises.  My most recent discovery is how much I enjoy Anne Rice novels.

MUSIC:

I don't like mainstream music.  The "top-40" they play on radio stations drives me nuts.  I'm quite diverse though, with my favorite genres being Industrial, Drum&Bass, EBM, EuroDance, Electronic, Psychedelic, SynthPop, Classic Rock, Opera Metal, Gothic Rock, JPop, and Classical.  I have a play list here.  Some of my favorite artists include:

Aliensix, Antilles, Apoptygma Berzerk, Assemblage 23, Aural Vampire, Autokratz, Avoid Kharma, Black Heaven, Blutengel, Celldweller, Client, Code 64, Count To Infinity, Covenant, CTRL, Cyanotic, DayBehavior, Dimrain47, Diorama, Dope, Echoing Green, Electric Valentine, Equatronic, Fairlight Children, FGFC820, Front Line Assembly, Icon Of Coil, Imperative Reaction, Iris, Juno Reactor, Kate Ryan, Lords Of Acid, Marsheaux, Milk Inc., Mind.in.a.box, Mindless Self Indulgence, Ministry, Neuropa, New Order, Nine Inch Nails, OhGr, Ovni, Parralox, Qualia, Raindancer, Razed In Black, Regenerator, Root4, Royksopp, Solitary Experiments, Syrian, Vision Talk, VNV Nation, Xandria, XP8, Zeromancer, Zombie Girl

MOVIES:

I like all kinds of movies, from crazy action and horror, to a good love story. Many of my favorite movies are from the 80s, when I grew up.  Favorite themes include underwater, outer space, computers and anything with a long-haired hottie as the star ;-).  These are some of my favorites:

FOOD:

I like a huge range of foods and types, especially Asian, Mexican and Italian. I prefer organic farming. I also prefer vegan/vegetarian dishes. I won't eat red meat or dairy for health purposes.  I could go vegan so easily.  Soy is a large component of my diet. I make a tofu-strawberry-banana-rum smoothie that is to die for.  I love making and eating salads.

MORE:

That's it for my public profile.  The 'Friends Only' section contains some of my other thoughts.  I only share that information with those I know rather well.
