I Play With Electricity:

'When The Going Gets Rough, The Tough Put A Filter Cap Across V+ And Ground'

I love the smell of ozone at midnight :-D  There's something about the magical force of electrons moving through things that really excites me.  I build electronic devices, play with extremely high voltages, and construct massive pulse discharge systems.

Does the thought of a pickle exploding via a massive electrical pulse sound entertaining? Or melting light bulbs and beer bottles with extremely high voltage? How about launching various objects with crazy amounts of electromagnetic power? Or melting coins, cans and other objects into a pile of goo? If so, there's a good chance we'll make good friends and you should message me :-)

Non-intentional side effects of playing with electricity:

► 3/4" chunk of 14awg wire in my shin, needing to be surgically extracted
► Holes in my garage doors
► Large dent in my ceiling requiring a large repair
► Shards of CDs in my ceiling
► Wire shrapnel in walls, ceiling and a bike tire
► Cops showing up because an electrical explosion was insanely loud
► Numerous burn marks on the garage floor
► EMPs affecting electronic circuits, e.g. randomizing digital clocks

Onto some of my projects:

My 24kj Capacitor bank during construction

11" Induction launcher coil for sending non-ferrous metals incredibly high in the sky!

My mid sized capacitor bank

I crammed an entire 1980's NES into a handheld enclosure.  Built from scratch using a PSP screen, cell phone batteries and other junk.

Can you say 400v @ 14,400uf?!?

Destroying a hard drive in a friend's shop

20,000v melted its way through and around a beer bottle

Mr. PotatoHead had a shocking experience!

I built an RC tank from scratch, complete with remote camera and audio add-on

100PSI completely self contained handheld air cannon!

I've exceeded this speaker's maximum excursion
